Bike rules and safety at SkiBikeHike

A guardian is always responsible for minors staying at SkiBikeHike.

Full-face helmet and back protector are mandatory

To access the facility and use the lift, a full-face helmet and back protector are required. We also recommend upper body protection as well as knee and elbow pads.

Disc brakes

Only bikes with disc brakes front and rear are allowed.

All riding is at your own risk

It is the rider’s responsibility to choose trails according to skill level and to adapt riding accordingly. One person per bike. Bike trailers or other aids are not allowed.

The park must not be used after closing hours

When the lift is closed, the area is considered a worksite. Vehicles and staff may be present on the trails. Riding and staying on the trails is therefore prohibited.

It is the rider’s responsibility to know the rules

Guests must be familiar with the rules and conditions in “SLAO’s Little Green” as well as Ski Bike Hike’s own rules – pay attention to signage and information boards. Violations may result in termination of access and confiscation of the lift pass.

Respect barriers and prohibition signs

Violations may result in termination of access and confiscation of the lift pass.

Adjust your speed and respect other riders/nature

  • Pedestrians and other traffic are not allowed on the trails.
  • Staff may be present on the trails during opening hours – stay alert.
  • Overtaking other riders is not allowed. Ask for permission to pass when they are stopped.
  • Be extra cautious where trails merge or cross.
  • Adjust your speed according to weather conditions.
  • Do not stop where visibility is limited, such as over crests, after turns, or in steep sections.
  • Do not litter and only ride on marked trails.

Intoxicated or drug-influenced persons will be removed

Alcohol and drugs impair judgment and reaction time, posing a danger to others. Riding under the influence is prohibited.

BikePasses are personal

Anyone attempting to use the lift or access the trails without a valid personal BikePass will be charged a fee of 1500 SEK.

In case of thunderstorms, the lift will be closed for safety reasons.

The rider is responsible for their own equipment

It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure their equipment is in good condition and that the bike does not cause harm to others, staff, or facility equipment.

Accidents can happen to anyone at any time—especially on your first run or when you get tired. It is important to stay aware of your equipment, the trails, and your own ability for the day. We recommend taking a few inspection runs to warm up and assess trail conditions. Weather can quickly change the nature of the trails. Riding them multiple times at a controlled pace is a safe way to develop your skills—allowing you to progress without exceeding your limits.
